Dr. Jijun Huang is currently working as a Associate Professor in the Department of Materials Science and Opto-electronic Engineering, University of the Chinese Academy of Sciences , China. • Biocompatible, self-healing, inorganic-organic biocomposites for bone tissue engineering via ice-templating and infiltration • Hydrolytic degradation and swelling of FlexBone-type biocomposites comprised of pHEMA and hydroxyapatite (HAP) or bioglass for bone and cartilage tissue engineering • Dynamic mechanical and rheological properties of elastomeric, bone-like pHEMA/HAP for bone and cartilage tissue engineering • Biomineralization of novel peptoids and poly(2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate)(pHEMA)-based hydrogels for bone tissue engineering • (Biodegradable and non-biodegradable) multi-functional polymer nanocomposites and blends
