Biography
Professor Jiping Chen received his BS degree in Analytical Chemistry from China West Normal University in 1985 and PhD in Analytical Chemistry from Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, CAS in 1997. He has been a professor and the leader of Group 103 since 2003 while during 2004-2005 he was a visiting scholar at Max Planck Institute for Chemical Ecology in Germany. Professor Chen is a member of several academic organizations such as Analytical Toxicology Committee of Chinese Society of Toxicology and Microbial Ecology Committee of Ecological Society of China. He was awarded Liaoning Hundred Talents Program in 2009 and selected as the first batch of Leading Talents of Dalian in 2012.
