Biography
Dr. Liu graduated from Harbin University of Architecture & Engineering (China) in 1982, and worked in this university as a lectuer, associate professor and professor respectively. During 1994-1996 and 1998-1999, as a research fellow of the Royal Dutch Academy of Sciences, work in Institute of Environmental Sciences of TNO (the Netherlands) and carried out the researches of the innovative technologies for wastewater treatment and waste gases treatment, respectively. Since 1999, as a professor of "hundreds persons plan" of CAS work in Research Center for Eco-Environmental Sciences (RCEES).
Research Interest
My works are focusing on research and application of theory and technology on water pollution control and wastewater reuse, including the biological treatment technologies of wastewater, VOC and odour and sludge.
