Biography
LIU Ruiping, obtained his Ph.D in Municipal Engineering Department at Harbin Institute of Technology, China. He is the Vice-Chairman of the IWA China Young Water Professionals National Committee. His research interests cover the fundamental science and innovative technology for the removal of specific pollutants in drinking water, industrial wastewater, and the remediation of water environments, and he devotes to the large-scale application of novel functional materials, innovative reactors, and technologies in engineering works, and has successfully finished nearly 30 engineering works. He was awarded “Science and Technology New Star" of Beijing City in 2013, and has been granted the IWA Project Innovation Award, Global and East Asia Honour Award (Applied Research) for his contribution to arsenic pollution control in drinking water and water environments. He has published over 60 papers in SCI journals, and over 20 National Invention Patents
