Research Interest
1) Instrument development : our team developed a portable, ultrasensitive molecular analyzer based on fluorescence correlation spectroscopy principles. We have also built an advanced single-molecule research platform integrating multiparameter fluorescence detection and atomic force microscopy techniques. 2) Molecular mechanism of organelle biogenesis: we are investigating the molecular mechanism of giant lamellar bodies (GLBs) in the alveolar type II pneumocyte. Lung fibrosis related to GLB is the fatal cause of Hermansky-Pudlak Syndrome patients.
