Biography
Dr. Hailin Wang is a Professor of bioanalytical and environmental chemistry at the state key laboratory of environmental chemistry and ecotoxicology, Research Center for Eco-Environmental Sciences, CAS (2005-present). He obtained his Ph.D. from the Institute of Chemicals and Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) in 1997. He performed his postdoctoral research in the Department of Public Health Sciences, University of Alberta (Edmonton, Canada) in 2000 - 2004, and then served as a Research Associate in the University of Alberta (2004 - 2005). He has been awarded “Presidential Special Award for Graduate Student” by the CAS in 1997, “Hundreds of Talents” program by the CAS in 2005, and “Outstanding young scientist” by the Natural Science Foundation of China in 2011. He has published more than 75 papers in peer-reviewed leading journals, including Proc. Natl. Acad. Sci. USA, J. Am. Chem. Soc., Anal. Chem., Chem. Comm., J. Chromatogr. A, Electrophoresis.
