Biography

Wen Ji is an Associate Professor in Institute of Computing Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences (ICT). She received the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in department of Communication and Information Systems from Northwestern Polytechnical University, China, in 2003 and 2006. She was a Post Doctoral Fellow at ICT 2007-2009, and was an Assistant Professor at ICT 2009-2010. During 2009-2010, she visited as a research associate in the Department of Computing, Hong Kong Polytechnic University. During 2014-2015, she visited as a visiting scholar in the Department of Electrical Engineering, Princeton University, USA. Her research interests include multimedia communication and networking, video coding, channel coding, information theory, optimization, network economics, social media, and pervasive computing, with applications to the wireless network, content distribution, green computing, and next generation network.
