(Ion Implantation Physics)  1991-1994, PhD, Changchun Institute of Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), (Electroluminescence)  1994-1996 Postdoctoral Fellow, Institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences (Molecular Reaction Dynamics) 1996 - 1999; 2002 – 2005 Beijing Solar Energy Research Institute (BSERI) Professor, Deputy Director & Chief Engineer, Deputy Director of National New Energy Engineering Center, Chief Scientist of Beijing Photovoltaic Research Center, Director of Photovoltaic Laboratory of BSERI, Chairman of Academic Committee of BSERI. Leader of research teams studying a wide range of PV solar issues, including PV policy in China, development of PV research & industry in China, solar cell technology and solar cell application. 1999 – 2000 Wadsworth Center, New York State Department of Health, USA Research Affiliate. Studied photolysis of gas-phase NO3 and C2H5SH using dye laser photolysis with cavity ring-down spectroscopic detection. These molecules are implicated in the global sulfur cycle. 2000 – 2002 Department of Physics and Astronomy, University of Toledo, Toledo, USA Research Associate.
