Biography
Dr. Wenying Zhuang, PhD (Cornell University), Professor of Mycology, CAS Academician, TWAS Academician, Honorary Member of the Mycological Society of America. More than 180 papers, 5 books and chapters in other 8 books were published. Eleven new genera, more than 180 new species were established. She currently serves as Member of the Executive Committee of the International Mycological Association, Associate Editor-in-Chief of Cryptogamic Flora of China, Editorial board member of the journals Mycotaxon, Phytotaxa, and IMA Fungus.
Research Interest
Her research has been focused on species diversity and phylogeny of some ascomycotous families, as well as DNA barcoding of the nectriaceous fungi.
