Biography
Dr. WU Shiguo is currently working as a Professor in the Department of Deep-sea Science and Engineering , University of the Chinese Academy of Sciences , China.
Research Interest
(1) Seismology: seismic survey, sequence stratigraphy, deeewater channel system, mass transport deposits, seismic signatures of cabornate platforms and prediction of reservoir physical properties. (2) Seafloor tectonics: such as tectonics of margins (backarc basin) and subduction zones. (3) Deepwater petroleum geology, Gas hydrate and seafloor stability in the deepwater margin: seismic inversion for deepwater hydrocarbon and gas hydrate, architecture and numerical modeling of submarine slide.
