Biography
Dr. Zhong got her BSc and MSc in Anhui Agricultural University. She graduated from College of Life Sciences of Peking University and received her Ph.D. degree in 2003. Then she joined the Institute of Microbiology, Chinese Academy of Sciences and now is the Associate Professor of State Key Laboratory of Microbial Resources of IM-CAS.
Research Interest
Dr. Zhong’s research concentrates on molecular genetics of Lactic Acid Bacteria (LAB), especially on the biosynthesis, genetic regulation, structural-function analysis and the application of the bioactive substances produced by LAB.
