I have developed the highly successful MSc in Organizational Management, which prepares our graduates for careers as mananagement consultants. Research Interest

My research has broadly examined how Chinese management has evolved as China's economy develops. Where traditional Chinese management methods have been a good fit for firms engaged in low cost mass production, these traditional management methods appear incompatible with an increasing need to manage professionals and knowledge workers. Specific research topics I have published which are related to this broad issue include creativity, teams, conflict, and empowerment.
