Biography
Mr. Soopakij Chearavanont, aged 52, has been an Executive Director of the Company since 2005 and a Vice Chairman since February 2010. He obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in the College of Business and Public Administration of New York University, USA and has extensive multinational investment and management experience in various industries. He also holds directorship in a subsidiary of the Company. Mr. Chearavanont is also the Chairman of Charoen Pokphand Group Company Limited, C.P. Lotus Corporation (a company listed on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange), Chia Tai Enterprises International Limited (a company listed on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange) and True Visions Public Company Limited. He is also a director of True Corporation Public Company Limited and CP ALL Public Company Limited (companies listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand) and a non-executive director of Ping An Insurance (Group) Company of China Limited (a company listed on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and the Shanghai Stock Exchange).
