Biography
Cathy Engelbert is responsible for nearly 80,000 audit, tax, consulting, and advisory professionals who serve over 80 percent of the Fortune 500, producing measurable impact for clients, people, communities, and society. Since 1986, Cathy has served several of the world’s leading life sciences and pharmaceutical companies and advised companies on financial instrument accounting matters. She previously served as chairman and chief executive officer of Deloitte & Touche LLP, where she led the Audit practice. Cathy is the chairman of the Center for Audit Quality Governing Board and is listed as one of Fortune’s 2016 and 2015 Most Powerful Women as well as one of Fast Company’s Most Productive and Creative People. She is a member of the board of directors of Catalyst, the American Heart Association CEO Roundtable, the Business Roundtable, and the Kennedy Center Corporate Fund Board.
