Biography
GUO Fang, a professor at School of Chemistry, Liaoning University, received B.S. and M.S. degrees from Liaoning Normal University and Peking Union Medical College in 1997 and 2000 respectively. She obtained her PhD degree from Cardiff University in UK in 2007 working on the solid state chemistry under the supervision of Prof. Kenneth D.M. Harris. She then took research associate position in Cardiff University. In 2009, she was appointed as Professor in School of Chemistry at Liaoning University, China.
Research Interest
Her research interest is the design, synthesis, property and reactivity of supramolecular assemblies. The current work includes: (1)Structure: Polymorphism, supra-molecular assembly and structure-property relationships.(2) Solid state processes: crystal growth, phase transformations and solid state reactivity.(3) Materials: From organic salts to host-guest complexes. (4) Diffraction: Single crystal diffraction and powder diffraction
