Biography
Larry Jutte joined EG Industries (EGI) in March 2010 as President & COO after spending 24 years with Honda’s NA operations. At Honda, Jutte served as Senior Vice President at Honda of America Mfg. and was a member of the company’s Board of Directors, Board of Directors of Honda Engineering North America, and Honda North America Board of Directors. After joining EGI, Jutte set out to diversify its customer base in its core competencies by bringing to the medical industries a “Vertical Innovation” business model from development through finished devices. With the merging of EGI and Gilero, EG-GILERO is positioned to be the partner of choice for design, development, prototyping, tooling, manufacturing and commercialization solutions for the medical device and drug delivery markets. Jutte is an advocate of “Competing Globally Locally” utilizing enterprise excellence tools in all aspects of design through manufacturing. He sits on the advisory board for Ohio State University’s Center for International Business Education & Research (CIBER). Jutte holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Capital University in Columbus, Ohio, and completed a four-year electrical apprenticeship program. Born in Coldwater, Ohio, Jutte resides in Dublin, Ohio with his wife, Quetta, and enjoys spending time with their 3 married children and 4 grandchildren boating, fishing, and the occasional golf game.
