Biography
Kevin Norbert Scully serves as the Non-Executive Director of Electro Optic Systems Holdings Ltd since September 19, 2011. He has more than 26 years of experience in equities research and analysis, corporate advisory and related matters. From 1982 to 1984, he was a foreign service officer in the regional and economic division of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Singapore. He started his career in the finance sector in 1984 as an investment analyst in Lyall & Evatt (Pte) Ltd and remained so until 1986. He joined Schroed Securities (Singapore) Pte Ltd as an investment analyst with a focus on the media, food, property and plantation sectors for the Singapore and Malaysian stock markets from 1986 to 1989. He was subsequently promoted and served as head of research of Schroder Securities (Singapore) Pte Ltd from 1989 to 1998. In 1995, he also assumed the position of managing director of Schroder Securities (Singapore) Pte Ltd and was responsible for, inter alia, broking operations in Singapore and research operations in Malaysia and Thailand. He was also appointed as director of Schroder Securities Asia (HK) Ltd. Between October 1998 and June 1999, he oversaw and managed the research operations of HSBC Securities (Singapore) Pte Limited as its director and head of research. He formed Netresearch Asia Holdings Pte Ltd in July 1999. He is also an executive director of companies related to Netresearch which includes NRA Capital Pte LTd and Hazelite Holdings Pte Ltd. He is member of the Endowment Fund Investment Committee and Strategic Finance Committee of St Joseph’s Institution. He is member of the Investment Committee of the SIM Group and Chairman of the Audit Committee of the Eurasian Association. He had previously been appointed as a non-executive director of GRP Limited and Rotol Singapore Ltd. He is also an Independent Director and Chairman of the Audit Committee of PNE Micron Holdings Limited. He holds a Bachelor of Social Science (Honours) in Economics from the National University of Singapore.
