Male, born in 1963, Ph.D., professor. 1980-1987 Department of Biology, Huazhong Normal University, 1984 and 1987 respectively by the bachelor and master's degree, 1996 by the British University of East Anglia, Ph.D., research direction for the plant population biology; 1996-2000 respectively in Hokkaido, Japan University and Japan National Agricultural Research Center as JSPS postdoctoral fellow and STA researcher, respectively, for the study of population biology and invasion ecology; returned to the country in October 2000, was hired as Fudan University professor; since 2011, biodiversity and eclogical engineering education Ministry of Key Laboratory Director. Research Interest
Using population, community and ecosystem ecology approaches, the ecological and genetic mechanisms of invasive plant invasions and the consequences of invasive community and ecosystem levels are studied.
