Biography
Graduated from Department of Biology, Beijing Normal University in 1983, after graduating from Peking University in 1986, he stayed at the university to teach. In 2007, he was transferred to Fudan University to form the "Research Center of Evolutionary Biology of Fudan University". Now he is a professor and Ph.D. student of Fudan University Mentor, vice president of life sciences. He studied or conducted cooperative research successively at Australian National University (1997.1-1998.1), University of London (2001.11-2002.4) and University of Cambridge (2003.8-2004.8). Research Interest
Mainly engaged in plant phylogeny and evolution research, the current research focuses on two aspects: (1) plant developmental regulation genes in different groups of plant genome differentiation and expression patterns and its impact on plant phylogeny (Evo-Devo ), Focusing on the origin, evolution and mechanism of developmental regulators related to the occurrence of seed traits; (2) The molecular basis of phenotypic plasticity variation and its ecological development process, focusing on the Eco-Devo perspective The molecular and developmental mechanisms of Alternanthera philoxeroides widely adapted to different habitats and their effects on invasiveness.
