Biography
Jilin Cheng, MD., Ph D., is a Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist, a Chief Physician, and a Director of the Division of Gastroenterology, a Gastrointestinal Endoscopy Expert, Ph. D student teacher at the Public Health Clinic Center affiliated to Fudan University, Shanghai, China; a member of esophageal and gastric varices treatment Committee, Shanghai Medical Association, Chinese Medical Association; and a member of Hepatology Committee, Shanghai Medical Association, Chinese Medical Association. His clinical interests include the chronic viral hepatitis, autoimmune liver diseases, hepatic cirrhosis, liver cancer and gastrointestinal diseases.
Research Interest
His research work mainly focuses on cellular and molecular biology of the extracellular matrix of the liver and the pathogenesis and therapeutic study of experimental liver fibrosis, liver cancer.
