Biography
Male, born in 1973, Ph.D., professor. He received a bachelor's degree in chemistry from Fudan University in 1997 and a doctorate in organic chemistry from the Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2002. He performed postdoctoral research at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City from 2002-2007. In 2007, he worked as assistant professor of biochemistry and molecular genetics at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and conducted structural biology research on proteins and nucleic acids.
Research Interest
Based on the X-ray diffraction of protein crystals and the combination of various biochemical and biophysical methods, the three-dimensional structural basis and molecular mechanisms of protein-nucleic acid, protein-protein interactions in RNA silencing and epigenetics are studied .
