Biography
He graduated from the Department of Botany, Department of Biology, Yunnan University in 1986, received a master's degree in botany from the Kunming Institute of Botany, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1995, and a PhD in botany from Wuhan University in 1998. Since 1998, he taught at the School of Life Sciences, Fudan University. Research Interest
Phylogenetics of Plant Evolution: The main interest is in hybridization and polyploidization. In the evolution of plants, we hope to understand the molecular basis of the evolutionary fates of gene families and the adaptive evolution of polyploid when doubling the genome.
