Jian Liu

Biography

Jian Liu, is a professor and a Ph.D. supervisor at College of Forestry, Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University, Jinshan Fuzhou, China. Educational Background: Graduated from the major of forest management, doctor of agronomy and now the president of Sanming University, Fujian Province. Teaching Courses: Geomatics, Remote Sensing Applications, ForestSustainable Management. Honors (Academic Scientific Researches): Master teachers in Fujian Province, special allowance of State Council; Presided over “Key Laboratory of resources and environmental monitoring and sustainable management,Fujian Province” Presided over “Resources and Environment Information Management Teaching Team” of Fujian Province; Presided achievement of “Applied Basis Studies on Ecological Forests Management in Minjiang Watershed” rewarded Second prize of Fujian Science and Technology Award, 2007; Presided achievement of “Optimal Management Technologies of Industrial Forestland” rewarded third prize of Fujian Science and Technology Award, 2010; Presided achievement of “Development and Utilization Suitability of Forest Resources in Minjiang Watershed Based on Geomatics” rewarded third of Fujian Science and Technology Award, 2008; Presided achievement of “Dynamic Assessment of Timber Forestland Assets” rewarded third of Fujian Science and Technology Award, 2008.
