Biography
Jinfu Liu, is a Professor at FujianAgriculture and Forestry University, China. ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS: Ph.D. in Ecology，Beijing Forestry University，Beijing，China，2004 M.S. in Forest Management，Fujian Forestry College，Fujian，China，1997 B.S. in Mathematics，Fujian Normal University，Fujian，China，1990. RESEARCH EXPERIENCE: I take keen pleasure in application research of statisticsfor ecology. My research mainly focuses on Biostatistics，Quantitative Ecology，Forestry Ecology，Tropical Forest Ecosystem，Forestry Systems Engineering，Nature Reserves Management，and Eco-tourism．In particular，I have focused on methods for quantitative traits on population structure and dynamics of rare tree species．My main areas of application are conservation techniques of endangered species．Our specific research interests include: Studies on ecology reserve of endangered Castanopsis Kawakamii. Regenerative dynamics and restoration techniqueof gaps in the rareCastanopsis Kawakamii forest of middle subtropics. Studies on ecology reserve of endangered Glyptostrobus Pensilis. Study on Quantity Characteristics and Disturbance Mechanism of Mangrove in Fujian ZhangJiangkou. Research on Forest Ecosystem in Daiyun Mountain，Fujian Province.
