Biography
Lijiao Chen, a female, was born in July, 1962. She is research fellow and master supervisor, one of academic leaders of food science and engineering in the department of food science, Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University (direction of aquatic product processing and storage engineering). She is also the director of innovation center of industry technology for aquatic products deep processing in Fuzhou City. Since graduated in 1982, she has been engaged in teaching and researching focus on food safety and quality in food science and engineering field. She has presided over more than 20 scientific projects including national, provincial, municipal scientific research projects. Prof Chen’s research program focuses on the deep processing and marine biological activities, in particular, promotion of processing technology in traditional aquatic products. She has been twice obtained the third prize of scientific and technological progress in Fujian province, published more than 30 scientific papers. She advised more than 30 masters major in food science and engineering, aquatic products processing and storage, agricultural products processing and storage.
