Biography

Pengfei Wu, is an associate professor and a master instructor at Forestry College, Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University, Fujian Province, Fuzhou, China. Educational background: Graduated in the major of forestry from Fujian Agriculture and Forestry university in 2004. And got the doctor's degree from Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University in the major ofsilviculture,2009 (successive postgraduate and doctoral programs of study ) .Started to work in horticulture postdoctoral research station of Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University in November 2009 , and completed the research in September 2011. Teaching courses: Responsible for thecourses of the undergraduate and graduate students, such as," The Coastal Protection Forest, Engineering Estimation of Soil and Water Conservation " , " Indoor Plants and Human Health" and so on. Honors: The PhD dissertation "Adaptation Mechanism of Chinese fir Clones with High Phosphorus-use-efficiency to Environmental Phosphorus Stress" won the third prize of Excellent Doctoral Dissertation of Fujian province in 2011, and respectively won the Eighth China Forestry Youth academic seminar " Outstanding Academic Reporting Award ", the ninth and the tenth China Forestry Youth Academic seminar "Best Paper Award". There were 2 scientific research achievements winning the Second Prize of the 2011 annual Science and Technology Progress in Fujian Province ( ranked third and seventh, respectively ), 1 research achievement winning the Third Prize of the 2011 Annual " Liang Xi forestry science and Technology Award " (ranked third ). He won the first " Star of Top Ten Campus researcher of science and technology ” of Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University, and was selected for the 2012 annual " Outstanding Young Persons of Fujian Higher Education research and personnel training plan.

Research Interest

Mainly engaged in Screening of genotypes for efficient utilization of forest nutrient and the effects on forest physiological and biochemical process of adversity stress, especially in a more in-depth study on determination of tree root morphology and physiology .
