Biography
Mr SHI Mu-tian ,male,was born in 1965 in Yongchun county, Fujian Province.He graduated from College of Resource and Environmentin Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University(FAFU)in 1985 with a Bachelor 's degree;and graduated from plant nutrition and Fertilization inCollege of Crop Science in FAFU in 1988 with a master's degree.Mr SHI had the dean and Senior Engineer in test center in FAFU from 1988-2001,but he transferred to College ofHorticulture in FAFU in 2001.Mr SHI Mu-tian also had a Doctor's postgraduate student in College of Crop Sciencein FAFU from 2001-2004,he graduated and had a Doctor's degree in 2004. Mr SHI was assigned to work at the Horticulturepost-doctoral station of FAFU from 2004-2010. Mr SHI Mu-tian was also engaged a Professor anddoctoral tutor in FAFU in 2005. Prof. SHI Mu-tianteachs“Advances in VegetablesNutrient and Fertilization”for Doctor's postgraduate student ;“Professional English for Vegetable”,“VegetablesNutrient and Fertilization”,“Technology Thesis Writing”and“Fruit Trees Nutrient Diagnosis and Fertilization” for master's postgraduate student;“Establishment Plant Nutrition”, “Principles of Marketing Horticulture”and“Horticulture Marketing Research and Analysis” forBachelor 's student. Prof. SHI Mutian had attended and presided about 30 provincial or ministerial science-research projects and published over 60 academic papers on ‘Chinese Journal of Applied Ecology ’,‘Plant nutrition and Fertilier Science’and also Chinese Journal .Ten of the papers had also been embodied by ‘Chemical Abstract’ (Journal). Besides, he had published 2 educational materials such as “Nutrition of the Horticultural Plants and the Fertilization Technique” and “ A handbook of Crop Fertilizer in South China” . He had honored with two National Invention Patent, 4 provincial Advancing Technology Awards, and one 2ndAward for Outstanding Educational Publication. There had been 8 Academic achievements of his researches authorized by the Ministerial Committee of Experts and regarded as at the top level in this field in China. In response to Mr. Shi’s great achievements, he now is a pluralist as a member of the Non-Social-Effect Agriculture Committee of Fujian Province and the expert of Fujian Technical Office, Fujian Development Committee, Fujian Provincial Agricultural Office and Fuzhou Scientific Bureau,in the mean time, as well as the examining manuscript expert of ‘Chinese Journal of Tropical Crops’. Prof. SHI Mutianis a tutor of master's postgraduate student of Vegetables Science or Flowers and Ornamental Horticulturein FAFU.
