Biography

Sun Yun is a female professor and Ph.D. advisor as well as associate directorof tea science department of Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University. For a long time she engaged in teaching and scientific research of tea specialty. She mainly undertakes the tea undergraduate courses including 《Tea Processing Science》,《Tea Culture Science》，《Famous Tea Manufacture》，《Science of Tea Art》; tea master courses including 《Principle of Tea Processing》,《Special Subject of Tea Culture》; tea PhD courses《Research Progress of Tea Processing》, 《Principle of Special Tea Processing》,etc.. She is one of the post experts of Fujian modern tea industry creative group. She has participatedmore than ten scientific research projects. Among them, two projects were awarded the second prize of science and technology awards by the provincial government (ranked first and ranked second respectively). She has published more than forty articles in several professional journals. Also, she is one of the provincial candidates of Fujian’s “Thousands of Talents” Project. She is anational senior tea taster, a proposition expert of 《Tea Art Master》question bank of the National Labor Ministry, a senior assessor of tea Art master occupational skill testing as well as one of the domestics numbers of formulating oolong tea international standard proposal. She has guided 22 master postgraduates, among them 8 had graduated. She can recruit tea Ph.D. and Master graduate. The main research areas are Tea Processing and Quality, Tea Culture and Tea Art, etc..
