Biography
Wei Hong, is a professor and a PhD supervisor at Forestry Colleague of Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University. Education: graduated from Fujian Normal University in 1975. Courses: Topics in silviculture, Topics in forestry measurement, Topics in Forest Ecology, Topics in coastal forest and environment etc. Honors: Special government allowance granted by the State Council in 1993; National Young and middle-aged expects with outstanding contribution & Provincial outstanding expect in 1996; Ruziniu Golden Globe awarded by Hongkong Burlington Education Foundation in 1997; Outstanding scientist of Fujian province in 1999; Pioneer worker of Fujian province in 2003; Zijin Science and Technology Innovation Award in 2012. Other occupations: Deputy president of Fujian Forestry Association; Council member of Forestry Association of China; Member of Education Committee for Forestry Disciplines of Ministry of Education; Member of Natural Science Foundation Research Society of China; Editorial board member of Scientia Silvae Sinicae; Chief editor of Journal of Fujian Forestry College.
