Biography
Chouyou Xiong, male, born in February 1980 , Fujian Yongding people; doctor of science, associate researcher, master tutor, returned to the United States personnel; Fujian Province, Fujian Province, sugarcane biology and genetics and breeding key laboratory deputy director; Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University outstanding youth Scientific research personnel, outstanding colleges and universities in Fujian Province scientific research personnel, high school in Fujian Province in the new century talents.
Research Interest
We focus mainly on plant applied genomics and plant molecular biology. We are investigating the sugarcane genetics and breeding, sugarcane physiology and sugarcane molecular biology. Especially, we are analyzing the mechanism controlling the development of sugarcane smut disease by the agronomic, physiological and molecular methods.
