Chen Qi

Biography

Chen Qi, graduated from the Department of Biology, Fujian Normal University in 1985 , received a Bachelor of Science degree. 1988 and 1992 respectively, the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences master's and doctorate. From 1989 to 1992 to the United States Rutgers University to do research. 1999 by the American Uinversity of Southern California molecular pharmacology and toxicology doctorate, after the Salk Institute postdoctoral and research work , formerly the Rockefeller Institute of Neurobiology assistant professor . 2012 employed in Fujian Normal University , and selected in 2012 , Fujian Province, the leading university talent. In the early years, he was mainly engaged in the research of genetic engineering. After 1994 , he was mainly engaged in the study of neurological function and related diseases. In the world, the new G protein guanylate exchange factor was isolated and cloned for the first time in the world, Mouse model construction. Is currently working with the American Academy of Sciences , the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center Professor Chen Zhijian cooperation.
