Aarsi Sagar

Biography

 Aarsi Sagar is a Green Cities Analyst with GGGI’s Investment and Policy Solution Division. Prior to working with GGGI, Aarsi managed projects on urban transformations, climate change and environment with the Indian Council for Research on International Economic Relations (ICRIER) in New Delhi, India. Some of the focus areas of research were calculating the business as usual costs of unplanned urbanization and addressing sustainable municipal financing challenges in India. Aarsi has also consulted on multiple projects with the World Bank, primarily working on the air quality challenges and monitoring in India’s cities, and assessing the impacts of environmental degradation on India’s economy. Outside of work, Aarsi initiated a grassroots education initiative on energy efficiency in the provinces of the Philippines.
