Dauda Foday Suma

Biography

 Dauda is an Industrial Advisor with the GGGI Ethiopia Country team. He is responsible for providing advisory services to the Government of Ethiopia on the development and implementation of the Climate Resilient Industrial Strategy. He has vast experience in international development, spanning from regional integration through industrialization, private sector development and trade promotion in Africa. Prior to joining GGGI, Dauda worked as a Policy Officer for Industry and Senior Policy Officer for Trade at the African Union Commission, where he contributed to the development and implementation of the Plan of Action for the Accelerated Industrial Development in Africa and the Action Plan for Boosting Intra-Africa Trade, and the establishment of the Continental Free Trade Area. He has also worked for UNDP as a Technical Specialist for Manufacturing, advising the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Government of Malawi on the implementation of the manufacturing component of its National Export Strategy.
