Biography
Francina Phakamea is a Finance Specialist who brings over 15 years of audit and financial management experience. A qualified Chartered Accountant, Francina started her career with two of the big “four” firms working for KPMG before moving to Ernest & Young where she was part of its advisory services dealing with External Audits. She later joined a Micro Finance organization which was reorganized into the Opportunity International Bank of Malawi (OIBM). Francina worked with OIBM for four years before joining World Vision International in its South African Office. She initially joined the Organization as Internal Audit Manager and later moved on to the position of Finance and Administration Director. After 3 years of service Francina moved to the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) where she worked for another three years as Finance and Support Services Director. Her last position with World Vision was in Mozambique where she served as Finance Director.
