Huong Ta

Biography

 Huong Ta is a Green Cities Officer with the GGGI team in Vietnam. Huong has over 15 years of research experience in the areas of environmental policy, natural resource management, and climate change. Before joining GGGI, Huong worked for the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Viet Nam in 7 years, advising the Government of Vietnam on climate change and green growth policy; facilitating policy dialogues; and leading policy-relevant research. Prior to this, Huong worked as a freelance consultant for different climate change and environmental projects. Huong holds a PhD Degree in Natural Resources and Environmental Management from University of Manitoba, an MSc in Environmental Management from National University of Singapore, and a BSc in Environmental Sciences from the Vietnam National University, Hanoi.
