Biography
Julian Patron is an Associate Country Program in GGGI Mexico office. Julian has over six years of research and professional experience related to cities, energy and sustainability, specializing at urban mobility and development. Prior to joining GGGI, he collaborated at WRI-EMBARQ Mexico as a Senior Analyst on Environmental Economics and Regulation, and served as a consultant for government institutions in the areas of freight transport, MSWM and waste-to-energy initiatives, along with professional experience in the private and public sectors. Julian holds a MSc on sustainability (industrial ecology and technology innovation) from the Universidad Politecnica de Cataluña (UPC) and the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), and s BSc on industrial and systems engineering from Tecnologico de Monterrey (ITESM) as background formation.
