Biography
Maria Cecilia Paña is the Country Portfolio Officer for Asia and the Pacific. Prior to joining GGGI, Cecille worked for the Asian Development Bank (ADB). She was involved in knowledge management and safeguards for the People’s Republic of China and Mongolia, and social and environmental safeguards for transport projects for ADB’s South Asia portfolio. She has also worked for nongovernment organizations in the Philippines, with focus on values formation, environmental  protection and conservation, and child protection. She has an undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of the Philippines, and MSc in Environmental Science and Ecosystem Management from the De La Salle University Manila.
