Biography
Noraya Soewarno joined GGGI as a Green Investment Specialist, Green Investment Services Department. Prior to GGGI she was Senior Investment Officer at the ADB, involved in processing large clean energy projects in the geothermal and natural gas sectors, as well as smaller projects in the water supply and transport sectors. She also contributed to the establishment of the Indonesia Infrastructure Finance company and PT.SMI, the Indonesian Infrastructure Development Bank. Prior to ADB she was Head of Research at one of the international investment banks. Noraya holds a Doctorate in Banking from the Maastricht School of Management, Netherlands. She earned her master’s in Economics and Finance from the University of New South Wales, Australia, and Civil Engineering degree from University of Indonesia.
