Biography
Okju Jeong joined GGGI’s Office of Thought Leadership in January 2017 as a Principal Specialist. Prior to this she served as Principal Urban Development Specialist, Rwanda Country Representative and Senior Program Manager with GGGI. With a multi-disciplinary background, she has a broad range of professional experience working on territorial and urban development strategies, national infrastructure planning and secondary city development, climate resilient and low carbon city, GIS and smart city, urban regeneration and economic competitiveness, decentralized governance and local finance, with direct on-the-ground experience in countries across Asia, Africa and Europe.
