Per Bertilsson

Biography

 Mr Bertilsson was International Project Manager of UNDP’s Urban Partnerships for Poverty Reduction (UPPR) initiative in Bangladesh. In this capacity, Per led collaborative efforts with the Government of Bangladesh’s Local Government Engineering Department (LGED) ,UNDP, DFID, UN-HABITAT and local government partners to ensure the smooth implementation of the project, which utilized social mobilization and community banking, to empower communities and improve livelihoods though skills development, small business support, and initiatives in education, health, and nutrition. Mr Bertilsson was also responsible for ensuring the achievement of policy objectives and the project’s monitoring and evaluation according to agreed guidelines.
