Biography
Robert is the Ethiopia Country Representative of GGGI. He has vast experience in international development and the private sector- specifically in the energy sector. Prior to joining GGGI, Robert served as a Director of Hong Kong-based Acadia Energy, the Head of the United Nations Coordination Unit in Botswana, and as a Lead Economist for the United Nations in the Maldives. He has also worked for the United Nations Research Institute for Social Development in Geneva. He holds a Master of Sciences Degree in International Finance and Economic Development as well as a Bachelor of Sciences Degree in Quantitative Economics. Robert leads the GGGI Ethiopia Program in supporting the implementation of the Government of Ethiopia’ Climate Resilience Green Economy strategy and its Second Growth and Transformation Plan.
