Vikalp Sabhlok

Biography

 Vikalp is a clean technology investment and climate finance specialist with over 8 years of strategic and operational experience in emerging and frontier market. He has worked in Indian and African markets with international start-ups, investors and firms in renewable energy sector to complete primary market analysis, business development, and strategic roadmap assignments. He also setup a venture in India in 2015. He is currently working as an investment specialist to develop innovative financial instruments and vehicles to structure green investments. In his last role with a venture development firm in Kenya, he focused on exploration and incubation of a rural electrification venture. Prior to that, Vikalp worked as an executive within the Indian energy industry. He holds a MS in Management Sciences from MIT, where his thesis focused on microgrid business model development. He holds an MBA from ISB, Hyderabad and a B.Tech Mechanical Engineering from IIT, Delhi.
