Biography
Xuesong Wen was born on 17th of March, 1972. She received her primary and secondary education in China. She went to Harbin Medical School to study Clinical Medicine in 1988 and then continued her Master degree in 1996. In 1999, after she was awarded her master of Medicine qualification as the top graduate, she started to work in the 1st Affiliated Hospital of Harbin Medical University then specialized as a gynaecological surgeon. In 2001, being awarded as a visiting scholar by China Scholarship Council, she began her Scientific career in UK, first in Leicester University then received further training in Queen Mary Medical University and got her PhD in 2005. From August 2005, she has been working in Biomedical Sciences Department in Middlesex University until now. Her focus and main interested areas are reproductive medicine and cancer biology and therapeutics.

His main research interest include 1. Assisted Reproductive technology 2. Pregnancy related disorders 3. Gynaecological tumours 4. HCG beta and epithelial cancers
