Biography
Dongwen Zhang was born in Hebei province of China in 1964. She received her Bachelor's degree from Hebei University of Technology, Tianjing in 1985, Master's degree from Harbin Institute of Technology, Harbin in 1990, and her Ph.D. degree from Beijing Institute of Technology, Beijing in 2004. Since 1990, she is with the school of information science and engineering, Hebei University of Science & Technology, Shijiazhuang, China, where she is currently a professor in field of automation control, and also is the Dean in the School of information Science and Engineering at Hebei University of Science & Technology, Shijiazhuang, China. Dr. Zhang is a member of China Computer Federation, vice chairman of Hebei Computer Federation, China .
Research Interest
Dr. Zhang’s research interests are broadly in the area of automation control and data mining with applications. She has published about 60 papers in the areas of time-delay systems, singular systems, robust control and model predictive control, automotive control. The areas of special interests include Robust control and Optimization control Data mining
