Biography
Dr. Xu is an associate professor in the Department of Communication Studies, Hong Kong Baptist University. His research and teaching focus on organizational communication, group communication, and research methods (both qualitative and quantitative). He is currently interested in participation, dialogue and ethics in communication practices, seeking to develop a dialogic approach in organizational and group communication. His research has appeared in leading scholarly journals including Communication Monographs, Management Communication Quarterly, Journal of Business Ethics, International Journal of Communication, Health Communication, Gender, Place & Culture, Asian Journal of Communication, Journal of International and Intercultural Communication, International Journal of Conflict Management, Journal of Loss and Trauma, and Health, Risk & Society.
