Biography
Prof. Chan is currently Professor in the Department of Communication Studies, Hong Kong Baptist University. She worked in the advertising and public relations profession and as a statistician for the Hong Kong Government before she joined the academia. She is convener of Environment, Health and Sustainability Working Group of David C. Lam Institute for East-West Studies. She recently completed a project on promoting healthy eating among adolescents. Her journal articles has won five awards at the Emerald Literati Network Awards for Excellence. Prof. Chan joined the HKBU in 1993. She was a visiting Professor at Copenhagen Business School, Aarhas University, and Klagenfurt University
