Biography
Prof. Cheung received the PhD degree from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Currently, he is a Full Professor at the Computer Science Department in Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU). Also, he is serving as the Associate Editor in IEEE Transactions on Neural Networks and Learning Systems, Pattern Recognition, Knowledge and Information Systems: An International Journal, and International Journal of Pattern Recognition and Artificial Intelligence. Prof. Cheung is the Founding Chairman of Hong Kong Chapter of IEEE Computational Intelligence Society, and the Vice Chair of Technical Committee on Intelligent Informatics (TCII) of IEEE Computer Society. He is an IET/IEE Fellow, BCS Fellow, and IETI Fellow. Also, he is the recipient of "Chu Tian Scholars (楚天å¸è€…)" in China.
