Biography
Prof. Tang is currently the Honorary Professor in the Computer Science Department. He recieved his bachelor degree in Electronic & Computer Engineering at Chongqing University, China, master degree in Electrical Engineering at Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, China and Ph.D. degree in Computer Science at Concordia University, Montreal, Canada. Prof. Tang was named IEEE Fellow, Pattern Recognition Society (IAPR) Fellow. He also served as the Chair of Technical Committee on Pattern Recognition - IEEE Systems, Man, and Cybernetics Society (Cybernetics) and the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of International Journal on Wavelets, Multiresolution, and Information Processing (IJWMIP).
