Biography
Dr. Zhang works in the fields of new media studies, computer-mediated communication, cyberpsychology, and quality of life research. His research work has appeared in several international peer-reviewed journals and edited volumes, and received top paper awards in international conferences. Dr. Zhang obtained his PhD from The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), and is an alumnus of Oxford Internet Institute (Oii) summer doctoral program. Before joining HKBU, he has conducted interdisciplinary research in the Hong Kong Institute of Asia-Pacific Studies and taught both postgraduate and undergraduate courses at CUHK.
