Biography

Ms. Man-Fung Ki, also known as Leonie, BA(Hon), GBS, JP has been the Managing Director of New World China Enterprises Projects Limited since November 1997. Ms. Ki was a Partner and served as the Chief Executive Officer at Grey Hong Kong Advertising Limited from 1978 to 1995 and Grey China Advertising Limited from 1992 to 1995. She has been an Executive Director of New World Development Company Limited since March 1, 2012. She has been a Non-executive Director at New World China Enterprises Projects Limited since December 2008. Ms. Ki has been an Independent Non-Executive Director of Sa Sa International Holdings Ltd. since December 15, 2006 and Clear Media Ltd. since September 27, 2004. She serves as a Director of Kunming New World First Bus Services Limited and for its certain subsidiaries. She founded and served as the Chairman at Grey Hong Kong Advertising Limited from 1978 to 1995 and Grey China Advertising Limited from 1992 to 1995. Ms. Ki served as a Non-Executive Director of New World Development Company Limited from December 2008 to March 1, 2012. She served as an Executive Director of “HK97 Extravaganza“ since July 1, 1997. Ms. Ki served as an Advisory Committee Member of the Electrical and Mechanical Services Department, Hong Kong since 2003. She is Honorary Secretary of Wu Zhi Qiao Charitable Foundation. She has also helped HKU initiated a New World/Harvard Kennedy School of Government Fellows Program by sending top PRC officials to John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University for training. In 1995, she helped set up The Better Hong Kong Foundation as its first Chief Executive. Ms. Ki is a Trustee of Ocean Park Conservation Fund. She has been a Member of the Asian Advisory Board of Cheng Yu Tung Management Institute, Richard Ivey School of Business (University of Western Ontario, Canada), Hong Kong since 2000. She is a Member of the Sports Commission of Hong Kong and the Hong Kong Housing Society. She is a Member of the Advisory Board of the EMBA Programme of CUHK and a Member of the Career Advisory Board of HKU. Ms. Ki served on the advisory council on food and environmental hygiene as Member for the People's Republic of China from 2001 to 2003 and Council Member of Open University of Hong Kong from 2000 to 2006. She was Court and Council Member of Lingnan University since December 2006. Ms. Ki was a Member of the Advisory Panel on the consultancy study on creative industries in Hong Kong (CPU) from 2001 to 2006. She was a Council Member of UNICEF and a Life Member of the Children's Cancer Foundation since 1990s. She was a Member of the World's President' Organization and Young President Organization. She was appointed Justice of Peace and Member of the Commission for Strategic Development of Hong Kong in 2005. Ms. Ki was a CPPCC Member of Yunnan province since 2002. She has more than 30 years of experience in integrated communication and marketing services, especially in advertising and public relations. Ms. Ki has published nine books so far, including the first ever advertising book in Chinese in Greater China. She is a recipient of Silver Bauhinia Star by the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. She is a recipient of Honorary University Fellows from OUHK and from CUHK/BA. Ms. Ki has won many local and international creative awards. Ms. Ki is also a Popular Writer and Columnist. She graduated from the University of Hong Kong.
